Two of Swords

ReversedConfusion, lesser of two evils, no right answer, delayed decision, information overload, mental gridlock
Narrative Meaning
The Two of Swords is the card of the blindfold. A figure sits with arms crossed, two swords raised in balance, eyes covered — and the water behind them is full of the rocks they're trying not to think about. This is willful avoidance of a decision that needs to be made. There's a stalemate here between two options, two truths, two paths — and the discomfort of choosing is so great that not choosing has started to feel like a solution. It isn't.
Practical Note
You are avoiding something you already know needs to be faced. The longer you sit with the blindfold on, the more the rocks behind you multiply. Taking it off won't make the choice easy — but it will make it possible.
Take off the blindfold — avoidance is making the rocks multiply, not disappear.
